These last few months through my adventure of another school have been a mental struggle, not because school has been overly demanding, but more from not being able to see my family. I have realized that there is a price to be paid when trying to seek what many call "success". You get stuck in "growing up" mode and everything around you is changing at a fast pace and before you realize what is happening you have missed out on the important aspects of life. Family keeps going, relatives have babies, and the life you where once surrounded with is no longer as accesible as it once was. I know that personally this is a very hard concept to grasp. You almost wish that when you leave that life should stop and when you return that life starts again, but in all truthfulness it doesn't. Most people change(I am an exception), little ones join the family, family events still take place, and that life keeps moving along. When you snap back into realty(if you ever do) and try to focus on your previous life arrangements it might be too late. You might be wondering where I am going with this, and you should be. I would just like people to stop, take a deep breath, and look around and make sure that you haven't lost touch with yourself and with your family. They are your roots and deserve much more then just a phone call and a letter once in a great while, and we sometimes forget this from the business that we create and the walls of stress and worries that have no meaning. I notice others around me and the abandonment of their families that they cause. Please remember your past and what you once loved. Those days you looked forward to spending with your family, have they turned into worrying about bills and other nonsense that you submitted yourself into? If you answer "Yes" it might be time to re-evaluate what you are doing with your life, and realize what really matters. It might be hard to give-up some channels on your TV or give up buying impressive clothes because you make yourself think that they matter and start making time for your family. You will not regret it...
the rambling will continue...
Paranormal Activity is a must see! Not only was I impressed by the amount of fear that it put into me. I was also impressed that the independent film was on a budget of $15,000 or so and kept my attention more then any other Hollywood horror flick has.

I cannot get enough of the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich. So funny!!
I'm on Hot Six. =]
I'm a SEN10R this year!! Almost there!!! =]
I have so much to do; between senior project, dance, key club, student council, pharmacy internship, and life it's already crazy.. and I've only been in school for 11 days.
Homecoming is in 2 weeks, and we have so much to do!
Dance, pep rally/ spirit week, powderpuff game, and the bonfire. SO BUSY!
Key club's just started, first real meeting Tuesday. Not too busy there at least. =]
Dance is starting tomorrow! Pretty excited about that one!! I haven't danced since.. June? I'm ready to go back.
Trying to think up some ideas for a senior project. Maybe working with kids at the local SACC and teaching them dance, then having them perform for their parents. Maybe volunteering at a soup kitchen. Maybe tutoring at the local elementary school. Maybe volunteering to chill with old folks at a nursing home.
I have no idea what to do...
Then there's the senior research paper.. I don't want to talk about that one, we haven't started it yet.
Pre Calculus is insanely hard! But, I do have an incredible teacher.
The internship in the retail pharmacy is great! I can't do anything without my technicians license yet but, ill be sending in for it soon. Then I can count pills and everything else!
Life.. it's okay. =P
to finish New Moon!!
It was a terrible book in my opinion.
End of discussion..
There's this place in town called Fair Share. It's pretty much and organic/ earthy store/ grocery place. If you get my drift? Well.. They have this stuff called POP Soda. It's really good! It seems to be pretty healthy as far as the nutrition facts go, but it isn't all organic or anything. I would have to suggest the Lemon Lavender with Ginger, or even the Citrus Hibiscus, but the lemon lavender is far better. =]
I took the official SAT's today. My rear still hurts from sitting for 4 hours facing a wall. It wasn't even all that bad, well we will see if it was when I get my score. haha.
After the testing was over, us juniors had the opportunity to stay for a drawing for 40 $250 scholarships. I figured I didn't have anything to lose so I got a ticket. And... drum roll please... I was the second to last person drawn! =] All it will buy me is a book or two but heck, it's at least one thing I don't have to pay for.
I have a confession.. my room is trashed. haha.
I haven't 'officially' unpacked my suitcase from vacation, it's just kinda sitting there with things falling out of it when I need something. Hopefully I will be able to fix it tomorrow.
I also desperately need to wash my car, it is filthy and I want to put a Ron Jon bumper sicker on it.
Well.. that's really all that's going on in my life at the moment. I will try to keep up with this as best I can, I've been very busy and I still am.

I am almost done with the book Twilight, which I absolutely love!
So.. I just bought New Moon. I am sure it will be just as swell. =]
Hope all is well.

Here is a useful application that I use to keep me from having to buy an alarm clock and clutter up my living space. It is an alarm clock application that can be setup to wake you up slowly by using a default alarm clock "beep!" or you can set it to wake you up with your favorite tunes in Itunes. The other great feature with this alarm clock application is that allows you to set multiple alarms and the days that you would like those alarms to go off on to help you with your busy schedule.
You can download this application at:

Which new friendship formed in 2008 is the most special to you? How did that person come into your life?
Well .. I made a few new friendships this past year so it's hard to choose which is the most special.
Of course my friendship with Chris and Ryan grew a lot, even though one fell a bit he and I will still always be friends.
I have come to be friends with the foreign exchange student with crazy hair. HaHa. We call him T and he is VERRYYY fun to just hang out with and talk to. Now THAT is one person I will never forget.
My friendship with my best friend Erika has changed a bit because of certain circumstances, but I still love her and we will always be like sisters.
The most special friendships this year have been the ones that have grown and have gone through thick and thin. It makes you a stronger person and your bond to the other gets much greater.
It's incredible some of the things that change sometimes...
