I've realized that i have not been writing too many things about myself anymore. I write about what interests me and so on, so in this post i will tell you some things that have happened, what i am doing with my life, how i am handling some things and so on:
First of all I have finally decided what i want to do with my life. After the 2 year journey of changing majors, changing schools, going back to the original majors and all that mumbo jumbo I have decided that i am going to become and EMT (emergency medical tech.) I will be working on an ambulance in 6 months and i am very excited about that! I love anything to do with the medical field. Although, in the past i did change my majors an awful lot, but the top ones that i wanted the most evolved around the medical field.
*Dental Hygienist
* Forensic Psychologist (More law department, but some medical)
* CNA to RN eventually
Actually there were a few months when i was guaranteed that i was going to become a graphic designer (i dont even know where that one stemmed from, probably because Joe is in Web Design and Development lol). I also remember wanting to be an interior decorator for about a week, and this idea stemmed from my step mom who told me about it one night, and i also enjoy the Home And Garden Chanel on Dish Network. haha. Then there was that short amount of time when i wanted to be a fashion designer. Oh ya, and a hair stylist. WOW. I have had alot of careers that i wanted to take part it. And yes, this all took place in a 2 year period! So you can see why i am so excited to finally know what i really and truly want to be and continue to be for how ever long i decide to do it. Which dont worry, it will be longer than a 6 month or 2 year period. This is my final career choice and i am not going to turn back now! Eventually i will get my Paramedic degree so i can make more money and possibly work on Life Flight. I dont know though, I'll cross that bridge when i get there ^_^ I actually start school on Monday and i am kind of nervous. I dont like starting new schools, which happens to be an odd fact considering this will be my 3rd college that i have attended. But believe me this is 3rd and last! Then after a 6 month training class or "college class" I will graduate and get to be on an ambulance helping people. I know it sounds gross but i love gore! Scary movies are my thing and i can handle the grossest things let me tell you! I am so excited, and im hoping that my first call is a good one! Not some stupid person who calls an ambulance for a nose bleed (which there are people out there in the world who do that!)
I'm just getting the last strings tied for school, and it is stressing me out a little bit. My school needs all these things and the things that they need just happen to be in Maine so my Dad is mailing me stuff left and right, making copies, going to school, getting my transcripts. So my dad is doing all my Maine "dirty work" for me. Thank god for my dad let me tell you because it can get pretty expensive flying back and forth I imagine! But only a few more minor details and i will be all done. Finally. Now i just have to look forward to the stress of classes. But that wont be a big deal. Not to brag but everyone has strong abilities in some sort of something and one of mine just happens to be health science. So no worries. I'm just anxious to start!
I remembered the name of the show that Joe introduced me to. It is called Fringe. I have only watched 2 episodes but they are so good so far. He has another show that he wants me to watch he says that, that show is also really good. I cant remember the name of it. But we havent watched too much of Fringe because Joe is so busy and i am a little busy trying to get my school crap all together and make sure i have everything done that i need done. Also being back in the hot or warmer weather makes me tired so by midnight im ready to cash in. Its a little bit different than the "bed time" i was falling asleep before i went back to Maine for Christmas vacation. I have been reading my book New Moon though before i go to bed. I love it. I cant wait to finish them all!
When I was home Joe and I went to L.L Bean (Theres one in Maine) Thats where i get all my back packs and other little neat things that i think i might want to have. The cool thing about L.L Bean is that if you have something that you bought there that you dont want anymore you can cash it in for a L.L Bean gift card. So anytime i want a new back pack i just take my old one in and trade it in to get money to buy and new one. WOAH that was a run-on sentence. haha. But anyways, I digress... I got a new back pack from there and it is lovely! I love it. It is so pretty. Maybe i will post a picture up of it. It is a hiking back pack, but fits my lap top and everything else perfectly and it really doesn't look like a hiking back pack. It is nice. The colors on it are black, teal and gray. It is the most comfortable back pack i have ever worn (that might be a good detail about the whole hiking part). But i love it! It will work perfect for school.
I called United Airlines and complained about the whole experience that Joe and i had when we flew home, and i got a 15 dollar refund for the baggage (Which made no sense to me because i was already suppose to have gotten that refund) some other guy promised that refund over 2 weeks ago when i first started calling them about my baggage. But oh well, 15 dollars is 15 dollars. I shouldn't have expected anything more from them. But i guess i was just pissed off about the whole thing. Which i think it was perfectly fine that i was pissed. We had a right to be! Anyways, enough about the United. I just learned not to ever fly with them again. The famous saying "You get what you pay for" is defiantly correct!
I love living down in Florida. The warm weather is awesome in the winter time. It is so strange not to have any snow on the ground or not freezing my butt off every time i step out the door. It is nice. But it isnt anywhere i would eventually want to build a home, or settle down here. It is just too , Oh i dont know...Its just too Florida, so on so forth. I like the cold weather dont get me wrong. Just not 20 below 0 cold weather. Another upside of it though is that i didnt have to buy winter tires this year, which was nice. I dont have to sit in my freezing car waiting for it to warm up before i can leave. It is nice for a temporary thing, just not a final destination. Im kind of nervous about the whole summer thing. Over 100 degrees. Yikes. I dont even have air conditioning in my car, and neither does Joe so we are both going to roast like Thanksgiving turkeys! @_@ Cant wait! haha. Pool side days here we come!!! Nice tan also, but with nice tan might come lovely wrinkles and skin cancer, so i better wear my SPF.
Joe is doing really well with all of his classes and has like a 4.0 GPA or close to it. Im impressed, but not surprised. He is very smart and knows his stuff when it comes to Web Design and Development! More than i would ever know!! I love living with him, hes clean, and takes care of things, helps out so much. I swear sometimes i think he was meant to be a woman! hah. He even cooks for me! The other night we had a stew and it was sooooooo soooooo good. Works cannot even explain the awesome taste that soup had! Last night I made tuna noodle casserole. Which to my surprise came out good too! Just like my dads! I was a little surprised because when it comes to cooking im no Martha Stewart! haha. Thank god for Joe other wise i would probably starve, or live off from PB and J's and ramen. Which isnt so bad either. But it can get old. ^_^
Oh ya, we bought a shop vac i think i might have already told y'all that but it is awesome and i love it. I vacuum all the time now *_* . I love vacuuming though, i find it fun. Last night i cleaned the bathroom and organized all my little things that i got for Christmas. I put up a wire shelf on the bath room wall that i keep ally my things in like: toothpaste, deodorant, mouth wash, and other things. I also hung my necklaces off from the bottom of it. It looks pretty sick!
Im outside right now writing this blog. It is nice, a little windy. The temperature right now is 65 and sunny. Its so nice. Perfect weather. Alot better than what i was feeling a week ago (22 degrees and colder) yikes. haha. I feel bad for my family right now!
There is a movie that i really want to see. It is Bride Wars with Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway. It looks so funny, and i love Kate Hudson. So i will be looking forward to watching this flick! I havent been to the movies in such a long time! Its sad. I didnt even go see a movies when i was home, too many other things to do i guess. But i am going to make time for this movie. I hope it is as funny as it looks in the trailer!
Well thats all for today folks. I hope you are all enjoying the new year! Its so weird that it is already 2009! Wow. Time flies!

So I am in Maine and have been here since the 21st. Christmas was good, i was happy to be home spending it with my family, and i was very happy to see Joe's family!
Our trip to Maine was a little stressful though, We flew United (which i dont recommend anyone flying with United) but yes, we flew United and everything was fine flying from Florida to Chicago. When we got to Chicago we pretty much ran to where we had to get on our other flight because that airport is so huge. So we were waiting there for a little while and then decided to go for a walk, when we came back from our walk we saw that...YES our flight was cancelled! Not just delayed, cancelled. Great, so now we needed to find another flight so we could get to Maine. One would think since they were flying with United then United would help them find a new flight or at least give them a little tiny bit of help. Well apparently they dont go by that so we had to find a new flight by ourselves (NO thanks to United)!!!!!!! Thanks to Joseph though, he is the one who got us a new flight. But anyways back to the story, the guy at the Portland, Maine gate plane that got cancelled told us to go wait in the line for missed flights and cancelled flights so we could book another flight. The line was HUGE too big to even want to stand in, it was barely moving because at the end of it instead of having real people to help the customers they had lovely little machines that printed off whatever information you needed. Obviously not every single person in that line knows how to work those machines and they probably needed help, which they were not getting. So needless to say, the line was just barely creeping along. Thank god Joe just firgured he would call United and schedual another flight instead of waiting for who knows how long to get into Portland, Maine. (Oh and by the way the reason why the flight was cancelled in the first place was because there was a HUGE snow storm, Mainers call them "north-easters" and they shut down the Portland International Jetport because of it so there were no flights coming in or going out). So Joe and I flew into Boston Mass. Which wasnt that close to Maine but it was alot closer than we were, so it wasnt the end of the world. Joes mom and dad came to pick us up at the airport all the way in Boston. Which because there was a huge snow storm it took them 5 hours to get there to pick us up, and it was a 5 hour ride back to where we live. Our luggage got lost because we were not on the right flight, so we had no clean clothes.
When we got back Joe and I started calling United seperatly to see where our bags were, NO ONE had a clue I wont get into the whole United deal but they couldnt help me with anything. One time I called the baggage department and the guy on the other end actually asked if he was "speaking to a beautiful lady" I mean what the hell?!?!?!?!?!?! I kept telling him to stop that he was creeping me out but he would stop! So finally i asked to speak to his manager and then he hung up on me!!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe it, I mean what kind of business is friggen United Airlines running??? Half of the people that you get ahold of you cant even understand and half of them you dont want to understand, and then the rest are machines instead of real people. I didnt get my luggage for over 72 hours. And then finally how i found out where it was i called portland airport and talked to some lady from another airline who went to see if my baggage was at the airport, which it was so i went down and got both our bags.
Which they were suppose to deliver to us, but i wasn't going to wait any longer for those idiots to bring my bags to me. I cant even explain how stressed out I was about the whole bag issue. The United company had ME calling all these other places like Chicago Airport, Portland Airport, Boston Airport to see if my bags had been located. I thought that was their job, but apparently NOT. One time i recall calling the company incompetent, and the manager that i was talking to agreed with me. So obviously something is really wrong with United. And i will never ever ever be flying with them again! They wouldn't even give me my money back for my flight to Portland. Which i thought that they should because i flew into Boston, NOT Portland. I'm surprised i didn't turn into an alcoholic after this whole United episode. It was ridiculous. I am writing a letter to their big head corporation guy and telling him exactly what i was put through for almost 4 days, and how no one could tell me where my luggage was. Uhhh...I have to stop talking about it now, im getting stressed out just thinking about it. LOL
Oh and another stupid thing about United, They charge you 15 extra dollars for a bag...Like you already didn't pay for an effing ticket, right?!!?!?!? And an over sized bag is 125 dollars. What the hell????? United is stupid and i would recommend flying with them. Cheap tickets-but you get what you pay for.
But other than stupid United Airlines my trip is going lovely! Its really cold out, but thats okay because i bought a coat to wear while im here, there is snow on the ground which is nice! My family is fabulous, the foods great, im having a blast!!! I've gone shopping a couple times, but i dont want to buy anything too big bacause i only have 2 more pounds in my baggage left before i go over and have to pay extra. O_O
So I guess i will wait to spend some money when i get back to Florida. $_$
So how was everyone else's Christmas?? What did y'all get?? How are you spending New Years?? Did you have travel problems too? Let me know!
Oh and P.S if you guys know anyone who works for United be sure to let them read this! If they dont already know their company SUCKS!!!!
**That's my rant!

So Christmas is almost here, and i am so excited for it this year! As you might have already known I moved to a different state far from home, so i dont get to visit with my family hardly at all. Rather than when i was living with my family. ;-). But for Christmas I am flying home to spend the holidays with my family! I am so happy to go home and see my family i am just a little bit homesick. It isnt like when i was going to college only 2 hours away from them when i first started college. But now I have to fly back, considering I am approximately 13 states away from them. Which that should be exciting, our flight isnt a non-stop one so we are stopping in Ohio at the Ohara international airport. I still cant understand why they sent us way up to Ohio when we are traveling back to Maine, but oh well, Im still excited :-P.
Im am also excited about seeing snow again! I miss it already. Yes, Florida is nice, but snow, come on you cant live without it!!!! When i come off the plane i might just have to roll around in some snow we will see. It is getting pretty cold down here in Florida though, surprisingly...well i was surprised. I literally could see my breath tonight when i was outside, that is defiantly a Maine thing, being so cold. But it gets pretty cold down here too. Its funny that a few months ago i thought that i would be laying in the sun in November and December...but thats not happening (geez whats gonna happen to me when i go back to Maine? I'll probably have to be issued into the hospital for hypothermia!) LOL. But, yes i can deffinatly tell that cold weather is coming...because my lips are chapped. (I hate that so much ).
Im not going to ask for anything for Christmas this year...Im just really excited about getting to go back home to see all of my family and friends. Thats all i could ever want. Presents dont mean anything to me. Theres nothing like sitting by the Christmas tree with your family sipping hot cocoa and just talking about random things. MMM cant wait for that. Speaking of Christmas tree it is going to be the first year that i am not around to help pick out the tree (sad im growing up :-( ... Hope my parents pick out a cute one! I am sure they will.
My sleeping patterns have gotten so weird. Right now it is almost 3 o clock in the morning and i am wide awake. A couple of months ago i would have been in bed 4 hours ago! hah. Oh well. I get my beauty sleep believe me. :-P.
Well this post was kind of random and short, i just wanted to update y'all on some of my plans for the future holidays. CANT WAIT! woot woot.
Peace and Love Vox family! <3
